EdCamps are a way for educators to come together to share ideas, best practices and dilemmas. Inspired by BarCamps and the Unconference format of workshops/conferences. Unlike traditional conferences, sessions are not planned or scheduled until the day of the event. At the beginning of the EdCamp, participants suggest ideas based on their area of interest, or desire to share. The first Upper Valley EdCamp is planning for May 3rd, 2012. Open to all educators in the Vermont and New Hampshire areas of the Greater Upper Valley. The event is being co-hosted by Lebanon High School and the Upper Valley Educators Institute.
